Seaglaze Purchasing and Stores Assistant.

We are recruiting a part time Administrator to help our busy combined Stores and Purchasing Supervisor.  

Hours and Experience dependent: rising to potentially £13,500 (based on 32 hours after probation (3 - 6 months).

As our Stores and Purchasing Assistant, this individual will be responsible for day to day support our the Stores and Purchasing Supervisor.  Duties will include (but not limited to) placing then chasing orders, stock allocation and raising rejections.  In a team of two, their underlying remit is to enable the Supervisor to focus on the problems and enhancements by dealing with the distractions and routine but necessary tasks.

Duties:
•    Order Generating & Chasing
•    Raising rejections and NCR’s
•    Recording stock levels and stock checks
•    (Adhoc) Answering telephone calls and welcoming visitors.

Secondary Duties:
•    Some light manual lifting in moving stock around small stores area.

 Characteristics/Skills:
•    Pleasant but focused – ignores distraction.
•    Able to accept interruptions smoothly without seeking constant direction.
•    Good general IT skills & ability to pick tasks up quickly
•    Able to interact with wider team and play a role in group objectives.

Whilst some stores or purchasing experience would be an advantage, it is more important that you are dependable and efficient.
